Surprisingly 3D art need not be an expensive hobby, I personally use Daz Studio (Free) and Bryce 5.5 (free at download.com).

 

My aim is to provide links to free resources for modelling, free tutorials and free programs for 3D modeling.

 

My own creations will be free for the time being, some with limitations which will be clearly stated.
